Our roster of talented content contributors continues to grow! We are so happy to introduce Amanda Li, the newest addition to our team.
Amanda is a Registered Dietitian, founder of Wellness Simplified and a professor at George Brown College. She received both her Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters in Nutrition at University of Guelph. After working a year as a full-time dietitian, she decided to embark on a new challenge – to blossom from a foodie into a true professionally-trained chef. Upon graduating from chef school she wanted to combine her dietetic experience and culinary training to create an innovative coaching practice that is foodcentric and grounded in empowering individuals to prioritize their health and wellbeing – starting in the kitchen!
She takes a no-nonsense practical approach to sustainable lifestyle habits by encouraging, educating and equipping her clients with the hands-on food skills to make healthy eating the easier choice. Amanda goes beyond the consultation room and bring full circle the science of nutrition and everyday eating habits by cultivating basic food skills – from learning how to meal plan, select and shop for ingredients and of course, how to prepare mouth-watering, wholesome meals. Amanda strongly believes that the secret to healthy eating is making it the easiest choice. When you eat great food, you feel great and can accomplish great things – so let’s start now!
